About Our Services

Can I use your services from outside Spain?

Yes. Many immigration and visa cases can be reviewed remotely, with online communication and document review before submission to the embassy or the relevant authority.

Can you guarantee that a residency or visa application will be approved?

No lawyer can guarantee the authority's decision. Our task is to assess the case's chances, identify the risks, and prepare the legal file to the best possible standard.

How much does a consultation with you cost?

The cost varies depending on the type and complexity of the case. In an initial consultation we review your situation and then provide you with an exact budget.

Are services available in Persian?

Yes. You can communicate with us in Persian, English or Spanish, and each step of your case will be explained to you in that same language.

Residency and Visas

How much money do I need for non-lucrative residency?

The main applicant needs approximately 400% of the IPREM (close to €2,400 per month), plus an additional 100% of the IPREM for every extra family member. See the full details.

Can I also work for a Spanish client under digital nomad residency?

Yes, but a maximum of 20% of your income can come from clients inside Spain; otherwise this visa is not suitable for you.

If I am currently in Spain irregularly, what options do I have?

The Arraigo (status settlement) routes offer several options based on length of stay, family ties or a job offer. See the residency routes.

Spanish Nationality

How many years of residency are required for Spanish nationality?

For Iranian citizens the general rule is ten years of legal, continuous residency; Iranians are not covered by the reduced two-year periods (reserved for citizens of Ibero-American countries and a few others).

Is the DELE exam mandatory for everyone?

No, people under 18, over 70, or those who completed their education in Spanish are exempt from the DELE, but the CCSE exam remains mandatory for almost everyone. Details of the exams.

Family Reunification

Which family members can I bring from Iran to Spain?

A spouse or registered partner, children under 18, and, under stricter conditions, parents over 65 who are financially dependent on you.

How do my Iranian documents become valid for the Spanish authorities?

Iran is not a member of the Hague Convention, so Iranian documents cannot be apostilled and must instead go through consular legalization. Full details.

Asylum and International Protection

How long will it take for my asylum case to be reviewed?

The legal deadline is six months, but in practice it usually takes one to two years or more. After six months without a response, you receive a temporary work permit.

Is apostasy from Islam alone sufficient grounds for asylum?

It can serve as the basis for an application, but it must be accompanied by evidence and a detailed account of the actual risk upon returning to Iran; each case is reviewed individually. Full details.

Do you help if an application is rejected?

Yes. We review the rejection decision, the authority's reasons and the legal deadlines, and then determine whether an appeal or a new application is the better option.

Banking and Sanctions

Given the sanctions, how can I transfer money to Spain?

Direct bank-to-bank transfers from Iran are usually not possible. Most people use reputable international exchange services or a transfer via a third country, together with clear documentation of the origin of funds. Full details.

Does holding Iranian nationality cause a bank account application to be rejected?

No, nationality alone is not a reason for rejection. Banks simply carry out a more thorough review of the origin of funds and the purpose of opening the account.

Investment and Business

Does buying property in Spain grant me residency?

No. The golden visa through property purchase was abolished in 2025. Buying property alone now creates no right of residency. Full details.

Do I need to be a resident to set up a company in Spain?

No, a non-resident can also own a Spanish company by obtaining an NIE, although you would need a separate visa for day-to-day management and work-related residency.

Administrative Procedures

What does administrative silence mean in Spain?

If the authority does not respond to your application within 3 months, the general rule is that the application is deemed rejected (negative silence), except in exceptional cases where the law provides for positive silence. Full details.
